Abstract

In the conditions of innovative education, the improvement of the teaching methodology of topography and cartography is achieved through geography education in higher education institutions. The basic geographical culture of any person is formed in geography education not only by the acquisition of geographical knowledge, skills and competencies, but also by the experience of creative activity and the formation of emotional and valuable relationships with the environment in students.
