The article's goal is to highlight the issue with using information technology in educational settings. The specifics of the introduction of information technology in the research of individual subjects were decided upon based on the regulatory framework, scientific and methodological literature analyses on the subject of the study. The benefits of utilizing IT in the educational process are highlighted, and the writers list the most popular multifunctional office software and IT tools. The authors draw the conclusion that one of the contemporary techniques to enhance the educational process is through the diversification of a wide range of forms and teaching methods, which is made possible by the use of information technology in education. The article is meant for educators who work in fields relevant to the creation and application of contemporary information technologies in learning, including teachers, methodologists, and students.
