Abstract

The leading type of memory in preschool children is figurative. Its development and further reconstruction is associated with changes in various areas of the child's mental being, mainly in cognitive processes - thinking and perception. Perception, while becoming more and more purposeful, conscious, retains its globality. As a result of the constant development of thinking, children sometimes turn to the simplest forms of generalization, which in turn allows them to systematize ideas. Ideas are connected with words and have a "beautiful" appearance. Improvement of analytical synthetic activity leads to change of ideas.
